Added these to my lily bed this year and I am so happy I did. I didn't expect them to be as large as they were the first year but were the size of platters! And lasted to almost a full week!

Great starter size bulb with growing tip

Received 3 great size starter -2 dia. bulbs with active roots.Growing tip: put 2 tbspns. of a potatoe fertilizer(like 5-20-20, 6-24-24: Nitrogen-Ist number should be low) 1.5 below bulb in 6 diameter. Plant bulb at least 6 to 8 deep in a sand teepee about 1/2 around it. Every year when the first 1 of the stalk appears above ground put an additional 1 tbspn of same fertilizer on the perimeter of an 6 diameter and you will have 4 to 6 main bulbs(stalks) by the 3rd year. This method produces strong sturdy stems sometimes as big as 1.5 in diameter and multiple blooms. Good for Asiatic, Orientals and Trumpets.
