The double mock orange arrived as we were having a final cold snap. I planted the stick in a pot of dirt in the house for a week or two. I transplanted it to the garden and it has grown as expected. I'm sure I will have to wait until next spring to see any flowers though.

I planted 2 of these last year. They grew well last year and this year one of the plants has blooms but they are certainly not double. The other plant has no blooms at all. The blooms I do have are not fragrant, which is why I wanted mock orange - the fragrance. Very disappointing.

I purchased and planted my double mock orange Spring year ago. It is growing and has begun to blossom. Unfortunately, it does not have any fragrance. My grandparents had mock orange in their yard and as a child I loved smelling the blossoms. I wanted to repeat the memory, but unable to do so with this plant. I wish I know why my plant has no fragrance.

I planted our double mock orange 6 weeks ago, and I am pleasantly surprised at how much it has grown! Very hardy little twig is now covered with all kinds of sprouting leaves. Can't wait to see it bloom!

Amazing little bush

Just as everyone else has noted, my Mock Orange bushes came as 'sticks'. We weren't able to plant them right away due to our schedules so we placed all of them (6) in a bucket of water... for way too many days. When the time came to plant them, they had already begun to leaf out. This summer was pretty dry and although I tried to keep them watered, I was unable to do it sufficiently. I just looked at my poor little bushes this morning and they were ALL alive and thriving, even though I had neglected them! I am incredibly happy with my purchase!

These are not double mock orange plants! They are single mock orange plants.Out of 23 plants none have double blossoms. The plants are healthy, and nice, just not what I wanted.

I purchased my double mock orange tree last year from Michigan Bulb, it came and looked like a stick with 2 tiny branches, I planted it and this year it looks so nice plenty of branches, full of leaves and about 3 ft tall already and blooming little white flowers, not bad from the little stick I planted last year, that cost about 6 bucks. I went online to get a couple more but they are sold out, I will get some next season, this tree just needs time and it will look very nice, I cant wait to see how big it gets by the end of this summer!
