Year 4, fruit has formed. Moved plant to sunny side of house and it just took off. I have 2 plants and fruit is on both. Some are 2 inch in diameter. Don't know when to harvest though.

I ordered this and it arrived in June 2014. It is a small branch with many green lives. I transferred it to a pot with compost and it is showing 2 pink flowers about to open. I first put it in the direct sun and it is getting really warm now so I am keeping it out of the afternoon sun until next year. There are still lots of leaves on the tree I received and I considered ordering another as this one seems to be doing okay. I cannot say if it will grow fruit yet but I a hoping it will sooner than my cherry trees which have no cherries since I first put them into the ground. Good planting to everyone.

More than I expected!

Based on other reviews I thought it would be smaller. I also thought there would be no leaves since I've ordered a tree before from another company who pruned it all back and nothing ever came of it. It was just a dead stick. I was very happy to receive a healthy 8 inch plant. After transplanting, there was a little shock, but it only lost maybe 20% of it's leaves. Now after having it a month it's happy and healthy!

I don't eat the fruit. There's no pulp only seeds. I hear people like the seeds but for me it's just to hard to cut the fruit to get to them. The blooms are what I enjoy. I love the color.
