I ordered 3 of these in early 2017 to try in from of my Delphinium and Larkspur in my rocky/clay zone 4b/5a garden. Gave them each a power pill and lots of compost. By end of July they had come up and were blooming - and this was after getting half-eaten by those nasty roving cloven-footed messengers of SM. The blooms are not colored as pictured (more light purple), but pretty. I'd buy more.

Out of two bought, only one started growing and I do believe it would've been OK had my chickens not scratched around it. Honestly, I would probably order again since one did grow well and quickly.

My flowers are much lighter color, a very interesting pink-purple. Sadly the bunnies love this plant when it's young, and I haven't been able to get it quite as full as pictured with only a few stalks blooming in year one and perhaps 7-10 last year. This year (third year) I took more precautions against the bunnies and the foliage growing beautifully. I get a lot of compliments from my neighbors on this plant!

Purchased from Michigan Bulb a few years back. Tough little perennial. Survived the tough Massachusetts winters and is back again this year. Delightful pink flowers, stays in its place. I have it growing in morning sun under a maple tree.
