Bought 2 last summer, planted in full sun and both have bloomed all winter in the snow and still blooming to spring. I love it and the butterflies too.

I purchased two of these in 2015 and planted them in the spring bare root. Both plants grew very quickly and in January they are still green. Very pretty lilac colored flowers all summer and into late fall.

They bloomed soon and stayed all year, after a year they sprouted off-spring which I clipped and moved to another sunny location. Not a true blue, but a nice medium lilac color.

Though not the color as described, this plant has bloomed well past the 2nd snow. I haven't been able to get the height much above 12 inches but it is a beautiful addition to my mother's garden as it slides into winter weather like a champion. This plant may very well get rid of those early winter blues!

I planted this in full blistering sun that crippled/killed many other supposedly full sun plants. It thrived! The flowers are more of a light purple-blue than the blue in the picture - but it looks great and flowers prolifically.
