Easy to grow and low maintenance, geraniums are perfect perennials for planting in sunny front borders, using as a colorful ground covers and even for planting in containers. We live at 8500'. The starts were in the ground and we had a mid May snow storm of 36". We had new leaves pop out of the ground just a couple of weeks later. They haven't bloomed but the starting leaves are very healthy.
